Day 22 of Christmas is Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, a American Amber Ale, from Will County Brewing Company in Shorewood, Illinois. Third day in a row with a beer from a brewery that I haven’t rated one from in the past. I believe that I priveleged enough to sample their beer via growler share by Mike and Sheri in the past. Oh, the hot summer days of drenching myself in find craft beer. We can dream.
Oatmeal Raisin Cookie got off to a fine start as it looked great in the glass and the aroma was solid. But it fell off the face of the earth from there. The taste was too sweet, never ending, while the body was thin. This beer is literally undrinkable for me. I would not have it again. Enjoy!
