Two regular dudes who happen to be huge fans of American craft beer.

Day 21 of the 24 beer of Christmas is Jam’d – Lime & Raspberry, a Fruit Beer, from Brickstone Brewery in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Second day in a row with a beer from a brewery that I haven’t rated one from. I believe I have had a Brickstone Brewery beer, just didn’t rate. Might have been on tap somewhere. If memory serves, over the past five years they have won some awards at GABF.
Jam’d is a line of beers they produce that are fruited. I don’t know how many they have made but I assume the base beer is always the same (otherwise they should change the name). The combination of lime and raspberry doesn’t seem like a good mix but it works. One brings the citrus bite while the other brings the typical berry sweetness. Not a pretty beer in the glass as the color is ugly but good drinker that is possibly better suited for the warmer weather. I would have this again. Enjoy!
