Day 17 of the 24 beer of Christmas is Tis the Season, a Cream Ale, from Lil Beaver Brewery in Blomington, Illinois. A cream ale with cranberry, almond and vanilla. Sounds like the potential for an interesting and festive beer. Let’s see.

Tis the Season’s aroma is interesting as the mix of almond and vanilla, along with style of the beer, creates a sweet caramel vibe. The taste over does it. A huge carbonation is mismatched in the middle that causes a tough spot in the beer. It is overly sweet. I would not have this beer again. Enjoy!
