Two regular dudes who happen to be huge fans of American craft beer.

I dare you to take a guess of which state today’s American craft beer comes from. It is a state better known for cheese and milk. Wisconsin you say. Nicely played.
It seems like I will be on this Wisconsin kick until I diminish my stash that I picked up this past weekend. Also, will be heading to Michigan this weekend, so I am sure next week will have a Michigan theme. If you have had many beers from either state, you will easily deduct that I will not be able to complain.
Today’s beer, Shaggin’ In The Woods, is brewed up by Tyranena Brewing Company. Shaggin’ is a bourbon barrel aged version of Sheep Shagger a Scottish Heavy Ale and has very subtle notes of the oak, vanilla, and bourbon from said aging. I like this type of aging as it really let’s the base beer shine with the aging just creating some nice complexities.
I really feel that Tyranena is a brewery that everyone should know about. They are doing some mighty fine things. I haven’t found a person that has yet complained about receiving one of their beers in an exchange. Enjoy!

Useless Fact: “Floccinaucinihilipilification” which means “the act of estimating as worthless” is the longest non-medical word in the English language; it’s 29 letters long.
