Bringing an American craft beer back from the dead: that’s exactly what Tyranena Brewing Company has done with Hop Whore. Hop Whore was originally released a year ago as part of Tyranena’s “Brewer’s Gone Wild!” series, which, to my best understanding, was a single release beer. Tyranena’s site doesn’t list the beer as a seasonal or normal release beer but I know that I have seen it around quite often lately.
Not matter how often or not Hop Whore comes out, it is a darn tasty IPA. Pine and citrus define the hop profile while caramel malts are the focus of the backbone that the hops lean on. Very drinkable, good body, and carbonation. Each time I have had this beer I look forward to the next. Enjoy!
