Two regular dudes who happen to be huge fans of American craft beer.

American craft beer and Friday night seem to go perfectly together. Actually, just about any night but the end of a hard week is especially rewarding.
Deep Water Dopplebock by Thomas Creek Brewery marks the first beer that I have officially reviewed from the state of South Carolina. Deep down I really want to try and hit each of the 50 states in terms of trying at least one craft beer from those states.
Poured decent enough into my pint glass. The aroma was a bit light. I expected to pick up some “bigger” scents than what little I could. The taste brings on some flavors but those more reminiscent of a porter. Also, the roasted flavor is much too powerful in the end of the drink as well as being unbalanced. That all said, this is an average or so beer: nothing really redeeming or ground breaking. Enjoy!
