Behemoth Barley Wine Review

three floyds brewing company behemoth barley wine

Behemoth Barley Wine by Three Floyds Brewing Company has been sitting in the basement (aka my cellar) for the past year. air jordan 3 Admittingly I haven’t had to many American barley wines, heck I haven’t had that many English barley wines either.

I know that the English style is sweeter than the American and, to be honest, I would probably say that I would prefer. Well, at least going in. Sometimes big dry beers are just that, to dry and it continues to dry even more as you continue to consume.

So I was skeptical going in, wondering what I was in for. I opened the bottle and could smell some pine hops emitting from the small bomber bottle opening. Good start. Once poured there are some caramel, toffee, butterscotch, and sweetness making up the large grain bill. There is some heat. The taste follows. For the amount of alcohol, the body is on the lighter side. A really good beer that I would like to have again. Enjoy!
