Limestone 6450 Red Ale

My second P.A.L.E. was held at the typical meeting place: Limestone Brewing Company. The club is growing, managing to be up around 100 members. Since the meetings are held at the brewery I have the ability to taste another one of the house brews while the official part of the brew club meeting is in session.

6450 Red Ale was the beer that caught my fancy for the meeting. An American Amber Ale the aroma was built on malt: caramel and bread with fruity notes seemingly coming from hops. Aroma was actually faint. Taste is pretty straight forward and similar but a little bolder. Easy to drink with little to no rough edges. I would have liked the hops, especially Simcoe, to take a more lead roll in the aroma to bolster that facet of the beer. I will have another. Enjoy!

Useless Fact: Christopher Columbus had blond hair.
