Drake's IPA

How does it happen that two days in a row, completely by chance, that I have an American craft beer with exactly the same name? Simply “IPA.” I know it isn’t luck because I only have bad luck. Just a complete random instance of two breweries that don’t have much imagination. 😉

IPA by Drake’s Brewing Company is my third offering from the brewery. I have to say that I have been impressed by each offering and thoroughly look forward to more going forward.

IPA has a nice hop profile that tantalize both the nose and mouth. To varying degrees there is citrus, grapefruit, pine, floral, and spice hop flavor/aromas that take the spotlight for the beer. Even though they are the stars, they don’t completely over power the malt nor leave you with a destroyed palate from bitterness in the finish.

A well rounded American IPA that has great balance, body, and drinkability. Enjoy!

Useless Fact: The Pacific Ocean encloses an area larger than all the land surfaces of the earth put together.
