Oh, How I Miss Beer

The last 10 to 12 days have been a real struggle for me when it comes to actually feeling good. I have gone down with a cold for four days of flu. Following I had a couple of days in which I felt okay but never 100%. On my first day back at work, I got rearended at a stop light only a mile or so from home. free run 4.0 v3 By the end of the last week, I had some type of bacteria infection that shared a 102 fever and drove me to see things in my sleep. The medicine for this one is turning out to be worse than the sickness. But I don’t want to cry.

Out of all this, what do I miss? Having a beer. The antibiotics are still working their magic through this coming Sunday. The way the antibiotics actually make me feel some vertigo and beer doesn’t even sound all that good (is that blasphemy?). 😀

No matter, the wife is driving on Thursday for Thanksgiving and I plan on having some type of good old American craft beverage to celebrate. I don’t have my eye on anything specific and, at this moment, because of my stomach, it will probably be something light and easy.
