Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence

Originally purchased to share on Valentines’ Day, Chocolate Indulgence by Brewery Ommegang was shared with my wife instead on Mother’s Day. I guess the next best fitting day.

My life immediately fell head over heals for the beer and I was only able to revel in a half of glass at best. I don’t think the cellar aging hurt the beer at all. It was pleasant, big without really being big, and made my wife happy. The most important thing to do on Mother’s Day.

I have only occasionally delved into Ommegang, mainly because of the price. I will continue to do so when I can find their beers on sale. Enjoy!

Useless Fact: Gibbon spent twenty years writing The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Noah Webster spent thirty-six years writing his dictionary.
