Two Beer Dudes Oktoberfest Taster Glasses

The 7oz glasses my wife picked up from Crate & Barrel for Two Beer Dudes Oktoberfest.

The Two Beer Dudes Oktoberfest get together is still over a month away but with excitement I have been hurriedly preparing.

I have asked a designer friend to put together something for a an invitation and he should have it in my hands by this Friday. He designed an invitation for me a few years back, coming up with a simple and fun idea. Of course I can’t wait to see it.

Rich has received numerous emails about Oktoberfest as I continue to ask questions, free run 4.0 v3 femmes refine the beer list, alter the “rules” for the night, and work on the invitee list. Needless to say Rich is learning that I am anal retentive when it comes to planning as it is part of my job and I don’t like to miss something and/or be surprised.

We are going with a tasting theme to the evening when it comes to the beers. Four ounces of beer so that it is a more sobering experience to get through all of the evenings flavors. To that end, my wife offered to go shopping at the Crate & Barrel outlet looking for glasses since she had a gift certificate and an unbelievable strong urge to shop! 🙂

So the other night she came home with about 30 seven ounce glasses that we can use for Oktoberfest, Two Beer Dudes style. She used the gift certificate and then some but we can return any glasses that we don’t use for a refund. So, being cheap, I have left most of them in the cardboard box cases they came in. Only the loose ones have been cleaned.

As things fall into place and time continues to march forward, the anticipation and excitement builds. I hope everything will go as expected. Enjoy!
